The journal portfolio
Three journals in law
The Acta series covers criminal, private, and administrative law. Each journal is independent, international, and in preparation.
The portfolio
One publishing programme, three distinct scholarly remits.
The journals are not three imprints of a single editorial formula. Each has its own disciplinary scope, editorial arrangements, and review process. What they share is a commitment to independent editing, international readership, and open access.
No issue has been published by any of the three journals. The links below lead to each journal’s own site.

Choosing a journal
The journals are not yet open for submissions. When they are, scope will be the first question.
Authors should choose the journal whose disciplinary remit fits the argument, not the one that appears closest in subject-matter labels. Work that crosses criminal, private, and public law may fit more than one journal; in that case, the author should consider which readership the argument addresses and which body of doctrine it primarily engages.
Each journal publishes its own scope, author information, and manuscript template. No submission route is open at this stage.
No submissions yet
This site does not accept submissions. Calls for papers and submission routes will be published on the journal sites before manuscripts are received.
